Italian food has a reputation for cream, cheese and comfort, but the south of Italy loves chilli too. If you like a bit of heat, there's more of it on our main menu than you might think. Fiena is our family-run cafe, bar and restaurant at 4 Medway Court, Judd Street, London WC1H 9QX, a few minutes' walk from King's Cross, and here's where to find the spice from midday onwards.
Nduja is a soft, spreadable spicy pork sausage from Calabria, at the toe of Italy's boot. It melts into whatever it touches, which is why it works so well in rice and on pizza. Our arancini nduja are served with a rich pink sauce. If anyone at the table would rather skip the heat, order a plate of the arancini mushroom (V) with saffron sauce alongside and share both.
"Diavola" means "devil's", and our Diavola pepperoni pizza is the only pizza on the menu with nduja: tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni and spicy nduja. Pepperoni is also one of the pizza extras, so you can add it to another pizza if you like. A gluten-free base is available. Normof, who came in with their partner, wrote: The dough is amazing.
(Normof, Google review) John, back from a trip to Italy, put it like this: I was in Napoli last week and the food wasn’t far off from the real deal.

Gluten-free penne is available for every pasta dish on the menu.
A plate with chilli is better with something fresh next to it. From the sides, try rocket and parmesan, a mixed salad or heritage tomato and red onion. For afterwards, our dessert menu has gelato (vanilla, wild strawberry and salted caramel) and three sorbets: mango, blood orange and lemon.
Our drinks menu lists the Margarita, classic or spicy: Tequila Ocho, Cointreau and fresh lime, with optional chilli for a spicy kick. If you'd rather a beer with your Diavola, there's Draft Moretti by the pint, Peroni, and Peroni 0% if you're not drinking. Alcoholic drinks are served from 10:30.
“Amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing music!”
