When the weather is kind, Judd Street becomes one of the more pleasant places to eat near King's Cross. At Fiena we have outdoor seating in front of the restaurant at 4 Medway Court — tree-lined pavement tables for coffee, brunch, pasta and aperitivo. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, with water bowls on request. Inside stays available when the sky turns; outside is the treat when it does not.
Kiley put it simply: I'd also recommend sitting outside and enjoying a cocktail here.
She singled out the bar team too: Jan makes the best hugo spritz's.
(Kiley R., Google review). A Hugo or Aperol spritz over the marble table, with people watching Judd Street, is how many of our afternoons start.
Maria liked the overall feel indoors and out: spacious, music not too loud, decor is not over the top, the friendliest of staff and fresh, quality food and excellent coffee.
(Maria M., Google review). Outside keeps that same relaxed pace — without the station noise of Euston Road. Nasipa's note on service applies on the pavement too: The service was warm and helpful without being intrusive.
(Nasipa E., Google review).
Breakfast and brunch (8am–2pm): eggs Benedict, granola bowls, The Fiena Tower, avocado and poached eggs, or a breakfast bap with a flat white. Fresh orange juice and smoothies travel well to the pavement tables too. Loredana's line still fits a sunny morning: The coffee is excellent, the staff are friendly and professional
(Loredana S., Google review).
Lunch and dinner: pizza is a natural outdoor order — Margherita, Diavola, Capricciosa, Vegetarian, Buffalo or Pizza al pollo — plus sharing starters such as garlic bread, bruschetta, arancini or padron peppers. Normof wrote: My partner and I had pizzas and they are absolutely delicious. The dough is amazing.
(Normof, Google review). Pasta and grilled mains from the main menu are just as happy outside when the evening is mild. C. J. on Tripadvisor kept it short: Pizzas were excellent, and the service was relaxed and friendly.
(C. J., Tripadvisor review).
Katelyn kept her outdoor-friendly order classic: Best aperol spritz and spaghetti bolognaise I've had in a while!
(Katelyn S., Google review). Sharing garlic bread while you wait for pizza is another pavement favourite — pull it apart on the board and order a second if friends arrive late.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our outdoor seating. Ask for a water bowl when you sit down. We cannot take dogs into the indoor dining room, so if the weather turns we will help you finish up outside or rearrange if a covered spot is free — just speak to the team. There is no dress code for humans either; come as you are after the park or the British Library.
They were really busy and they fit us in as a walk-in.(Ciara T. S., Google review).
Celia called us family friendly as well as a local find: Delicious food and good portions, great service and very family friendly.
(Celia F., Google review). The pavement tables are as good for a couple with a spritz as for a small family sharing pizza.
Bring the dog, order a spritz, and make Judd Street your terrace for an hour. Book at Fiena, browse the drinks list, or walk in when the sun is out. You will find us at 4 Medway Court, Judd Street, London WC1H 9QX.
Breakfast from 8am, the full Italian menu from midday. Walk-ins are always welcome whenever we have space.
