The Wellcome Collection at 183 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE, is one of the most interesting free days out in this part of London: a museum and library about health and medicine, with collections that cover thousands of years across different cultures. If you're looking for somewhere to eat before or after, Fiena, our family-run Italian cafe, bar and restaurant, is about 800 metres away at 4 Medway Court, Judd Street, London WC1H 9QX.
The Wellcome Collection says all of its permanent and temporary exhibitions, and most of its events, are free. There's a library, a reading room, a shop and a café, plus a free cloakroom for coats and bags. Check the Wellcome Collection visit page for opening times and what's on before you go.
It's around 10 to 12 minutes on foot. You have two easy options:
Tina came to us on foot from Euston and enjoyed it: Interesting walk from Euston station as well via the back streets.

We open at 08:00 every day. Breakfast and brunch are served until 14:00, with Italian coffee, eggs Benedict, the Fiena English breakfast and granola bowls on the breakfast menu. More in our guide to breakfast until 2pm.
From midday, the main menu runs until close: pasta such as Linguine Fiena, carbonara and lasagna, pizzas from Margherita to Diavola, grills, fish and salads. The bar opens at 10:30 for spritzes, cocktails and Italian wine, and the dessert menu, with tiramisu, gelato and affogato, is served all day.
Nasipa summed up the room: The atmosphere is cozy and well-designed, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal.
