Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard are some of the busiest corners of King's Cross, with fountains, the canal, shops, offices and plenty of people. If you'd like to finish your afternoon somewhere a little calmer, it's worth crossing to the south side of the station. Fiena, our family-run Italian cafe, bar and restaurant, is at 4 Medway Court, Judd Street, London WC1H 9QX, about a 15-minute walk from Granary Square.
It's a little over a kilometre. The last part is on a residential street, away from the traffic. Ryan described us as a quiet little restaurant near St Pancras station
(Ryan S., Google review), and Celia called us A hidden gem not far from Kings Cross or Euston
(Celia F., Google review).
Pasta is where most people start. The Linguine Fiena (chicken, mushrooms, garlic and cream) is a favourite in our reviews. Robin wrote: The Linguini Fiena was honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had.
(Robin W., Google review) There's also carbonara, a lasagna made with fresh pasta and slow-cooked beef ragù, and linguine with clams or mixed seafood. Gluten-free penne is available for every pasta dish.
From the pizza list, there's a Margherita, a Diavola with pepperoni and nduja, a Capricciosa and a Buffalo, and a gluten-free base is available. If you'd rather something from the grill, try the lamb cutlets, saltimbocca alla Romana or a whole sea bream.
When the weather's kind, our outdoor tables on Judd Street are the place for an Aperol or Hugo spritz. Kathleen wrote: This cafe had delicious food and a lovely little patio!
(Kathleen, Google review) When it isn't, the bar inside has the full drinks menu, from a Negroni to Draft Moretti.
“LOVED IT! Such a nice place, lovely people, great food and atmosphere”
